Rt Hon Sir John Key

Rt Hon Sir John Key was Prime Minister of New Zealand from 2008 to 2016, winning three general elections as leader of the centre-right National Party. He led the country through the aftermath of the global financial crisis and a series of devastating earthquakes in New Zealand’s second-biggest city.

When he retired from office New Zealand had one of the highest growth rates and best fiscal positions of any advanced economy. Sir John was well respected in international affairs and chaired the International Democrat Union and the United Nations Security Council in 2016.

Among his portfolio’s he was Minister for Tourism and has a strong interest in the best that New Zealand has to offer both local and international tourists. He was the instigator of the great New Zealand Cycle Trail.

Karen Walker

Karen Walker’s eccentrically elegant style has established a stellar international following for her ready-to-wear, eyewear, jewellery, bags and fragrance. Karen’s signature energy and optimism define the label.

Her designs cleverly play with cultural subtext, juxtaposing luxe and street, masculine and feminine, folk and utility, creating pieces that are both directional and wearable: Alexa Chung, Lorde, Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Florence Welch and Lena Dunham count themselves amongst the formidable roster of celebrity fans. The brand is available at retail in 42 countries, 200 cities and 1020 stores including Barneys New York, Liberty London and Harvey Nichols.

Her influence has seen her consistently ranked for the past five years in The Business of Fashion’s powerhouse BoF 500, reflecting her position as a global industry figure shaping the future.

Mat Steinwede

#1 Agent for McGrath & Founder of 31 Minutes

Exposed to the underbelly of Kings Cross when he was young, Mat was left homeless. With just the clothes he was wearing he moved to the Central Coast to try to start a better life. After gaining a job in real estate, Mat literally walked the streets for years, day after day, asking each home owner if they would like to sell. Over time he turned his life around. By applying a positive mindset, hard work and the law of attraction, Mat has established himself as an industry leader, achieving some of the best results in Australia.

Ranking consistently as the number one agent in the McGrath Network, combined with leading one of the most successful sales teams in Australasia, Mat Steinwede is a sought-after property sales specialist. With over 23 years’ experience dedicated solely to the real estate industry across the Central Coast, Mat has one of Australia’s best track records in property sales. Mat’s achievements have seen him recognised by global sales leaders and a thought leader and emerge as an in-demand high-performance speaker. Besides being regarded as an expert on sales, business and improving your life through mastering your energy, Mat has helped thousands of people change their life and achieve what they want.

Jimmy Spithill

“Colourful” is an often used word to describe yachtsman James ‘Jimmy’ Spithill, one of the most outspoken, but also one of the most decorated and high-achieving sailors in the world.

Jimmy has been at the forefront of the America’s Cup landscape since, aged 19, he became the youngest America’s Cup skipper in history, helming Young Australia 2000 in Auckland. He’s skippered in every Cup since, again setting records by becoming the youngest skipper to win the America’s Cup in 2010, at the helm of Larry Ellison’s Oracle Team USA.

He came to the attention of Kiwis while leading an improbable comeback against Emirates Team New Zealand – as they were only one race win away from bringing home the trophy in San Francisco in 2013.

Jimmy speaks dynamically and authentically about the challenges he has faced and the lessons he has learned on his path to championship – working harder and smarter than your competitors; positive mindset; resilience; the dangers of complacency, and the power of team work – leaving his audience motivated, inspired and galvanised for success.
