Calling all Auctioneers

Be a part of this fantastic opportunity to test your skills in a competitive arena at Conference 2017.
Whether you are an experienced auctioneer or a ‘first time caller’, here is your chance to take to the stage and battle for the title of Harcourts Auctioneer of the Year 2017!

NOVICE DIVISION – Open only to those who have called less than 10 auctions in the field, and are first-time competitors.
OPEN DIVISION – For experienced auctioneers and those who have previously competed in the Novice division.

Open + Novice Auctioneer Heats

Sunday 28 May 2017, 2.00pm
Lock up and briefing at 2.00pm. First call 2.30pm.
Open and Novice Division Heats will be in time slots of 12 minutes.
Full competitor packs and information will be sent via email on Friday 12 May.

Competition Final

Monday 29 May 2017, 4.30pm.
Lock up and briefing at 3.30pm. First call at 4.30pm.
The competition Final will be in 15-minute time slots.

Auction Competition Draw

Available online on Friday 26 May 2017, 4.00pm

Property to be auctioned
The property to be auctioned for the Open and Novice Division Heats will be emailed to all competitors on Friday 19 May 2017.
This year, there will be two finalists chosen from the competition Heats, to compete in the Finals.
Details on the property to be auctioned for the Finals will be provided on Sunday evening (28 May) following the competition Heats.

If you have already registered for Conference but would like to register for the Auction Competition, please email Shannon Mesritz – auctionsaus@harcourts.net with which competition you would like to enter.

Registration Terms & Conditions
If you would like to compete in either the Novice or the Open Auction Competition, you must also register and pay for the Harcourts Conference. If you do not register for Conference, you will not be able to compete.

Photo and Biography
Competitors will be contacted for a photo and biography for display during competition proceedings.
